Description
The Power Pet door, loved by pets and owners alike, uses an ultrasonic collar to let your pet come and go safely. Its translucent, bulletproof panel rises quietly as your pet approaches, creating an air-tight seal to keep out strays and intruders.
The POWER PET Door is entirely safe for pets and people, including small children. The door panel, weighing under 2 lbs., closes gently using gravity rather than the motor, making it too light to cause any harm. For added safety, the door includes a unique automatic retract feature that immediately lifts the panel if it encounters an obstruction while closing.
The PX-2 Large Power Pet door will accommodate pets with as large as a 14" torso height and up to 10-3/8" shoulder width. Most dogs under 100lbs fit into this category but be sure to measure your pet before ordering.
The height at which you mount the pet door will depend on how tall your pet is. We recommend that you mount the door so that the top of the pet door panel is at least 2 inches higher than your pets back. Detailed instructions are included with your Power Pet Door.
Easy to Install: Your POWER PET PX-2 installs as easily as any conventional pet door. The pre-fabricated outside frame is included for easy, professionally finished installations. You just cut the hole, screw in your POWER PE door screw in the Outside Frame you’re done! For wall installations, you may purchase our optional Wall Adapter Tunnel, sold below.
Order our optional wall tunnel to mount your door in walls up to 7" thick. The wall tunnel fills the space between the studs and gives you installation an attractive, professional appearance.
